A neuropsychological/psychological evaluation is a comprehensive assessment of intellectual, cognitive, and behavioral functions including learning, problem solving, attention, memory, and mood disturbance. Standardized testing procedures are utilized to evaluate an individuals abilities across each cognitive domain. A forensic neuropsychological evaluation is a specialized assessment conducted by a trained neuropsychologist to evaluate an individual's cognitive, emotional, and psychological functioning in the context of legal or criminal matters.
The process typically includes a detailed review of the individual's medical and psychiatric history, interviews, standardized testing, as well as behavioral observations. The goal is to provide objective, scientifically-based insights that can help inform legal decisions regarding issues like personal injury claims, criminal responsibility, competency to stand trial, or the effects of traumatic brain injuries.
These evaluations are used in both civil and criminal cases, and the findings can be presented in court to assist attorneys, judges, and other legal professionals in understanding the relationship between an individuals brain functioning their legal circumstances.

ADHD coaching, also known as executive function coaching is a collaborative process where the provider and individual develop strategies to manage their symptoms, improve focus, and achieve personal or professional goals.
The provider works with the client to enhance self-awareness, create customized systems for time management and organization, and build skills for managing distractions and impulsivity. It's a supportive, non-judgmental partnership that helps empower clients to harness their strengths and overcome challenges.

All coaching sessions are conducted via Zoom for convenience for our patients.
We understand that cost can be an important consideration when seeking consultation services. We accept Blue Cross Blue Shield of Massachusetts insurance plans and offer private pay options. However, please note that insurance plans can vary greatly in their coverage for neuropsychological and psychological evaluations. We advise all our patients to check with their insurance company about benefits before the evaluation to avoid unexpected out-of-pocket costs.
